WOMEN IN TECH, FLO HEAD OFFICES AND A CREATIVE COLLAGE WORKSHOP FOCUSSED ON MENOPAUSE & LANGUAGE.
Last month saw me facilitate a creative collage session on behalf of Women in Tech - bringing together women who worked in the tech industries to consider how things like menstrual and menopausal health impact the way we work and, how workplaces can support that.
I asked what words or phrases about Menopause had been heard within a workplace setting that may have infulenced how someone felt about their own health. We considered symptoms, forgetting the words that were floating on the end of our tongues only moments ago and, shared experiences, funny stories and everything from bleeding to body freedom. Using a range of materials we cut, glued, tore, layered, folded and created, all supported by the wonderful team at the Flo head offices where the workshop we held and, the great team at WIT UK.
