Feature project: Artist portrait, Natasha Caruana…
A pretty last minute project for me, this one kept me on my toes.
It was an amazing opportunity to photograph the inspirational disruptor of the educational art world, female artist Natasha Caruana.
Natasha creates work that in her own words ‘explores narratives of love, betrayal and fantasy, underpinned by a performative and playful approach.’ And like many artists or creatives, including myself, begins from personal experience.
This portrait was to be for press, comms and marketing etc for her new solo A Lovers’ Discourse which opened in Paris at the Centre De La Photographie at the end of April. A very special show which was long awaited after months of it being delayed due to covid.
This session was an absolute pleasure and continues to make me smile so I hope it might you too!
